I had thought of going back to Vancouver to experience the last day of the 2010 Olympics but opted to see what happened here. Pure spontaneous joy is all I can think of to describe the several hours of street partying that followed Canada’s gold metal win in men’s hockey. Jenna and I had only one camera with us so it was an interesting exercise to share a camera in a situation where we would normally both be shooting our faces off at the same time.

So nice to see police and fire departments partaking in the festivities…and I love the image with the lady hauling her friend by the purse from the hugging man!!
